After successfully completing his education, Gilbert embarked on an exciting professional journey that took him to China, where he found employment as a specialized designer in the field of figurines. It was during this time that his fascination with toys truly blossomed. He delved into the world of collecting, eagerly seeking out limited edition and rare figures to add to his ever-growing collection. Gilbert's relentless pursuit of unique pieces took him on a global quest, acquiring treasures from renowned toy markets in countries such as America, Hong Kong, and China itself. Notably, his collection boasts an impressive array of beloved characters from the realms of Disney and DC, bringing joy to his heart and igniting his imagination.

Gilbert's passion for collecting toys remains unwavering to this day. In addition to his toy collection, he has expanded his interests to include collecting DVDs and music records related to Disney, further immersing himself in the magical worlds that captivate his artistic spirit. Gilbert's exceptional talent as an artist did not go unnoticed, as he achieved a significant milestone when he won the grand prize in the prestigious ABS-CBN Likhang Immortal drawing contest on February 15, 2011. This recognition solidified his place as a talented artist within the creative community.

Presently, Gilbert is actively engaged in his career as a graphic designer, utilizing his artistic skills to create visually stunning designs for a variety of mediums.
